How to Stop Excessive Sweating

Sweating is a common factor. But excessive sweating is not a common factor. This may be due to few factors. Many people experience excessive sweating. It may be in palms, feet, armpits or underarms and may be in face as well. Sweating a lot may cause irritations to many. Also prolonged sweating reduces the water content in the body paving way to giddiness and laziness.

 

Sweating occurs as a result of the secretion of waste materials by the myoepithelial cells squeezing the merocrine glands and the secretions stored over there are released. Sweat is made up of 99 percentage of water blended with the sodium chloride, metabolites and waste materials. The sweat is directly released on the surface on palms and soles because of 500 merocrine glands are present per centimeter in both the hand and soles.

 

The excessive sweating occurs as a result of taking drinks containing caffeine, alcohol and spices. The three things are stimulants and they affect the nervous system resulting in this type of sweating. All the three induce sweating agents. To stop it, all these three factors have to be avoided.

 

Excessive sweating can occur depending upon our feeling. Some of the reasons are if we are tensed up or in some kind of hurry, searching for something or may be due to hearing some shocking news. By keeping ourselves cool or by working out exercises, there is a possibility to stop it.

 

The dresses we wear may be reason for excess sweating too. If you are wearing clothes which are manufactured from non-natural fibers, it may lead to excess sweating. Cotton clothes may help to stop it.

 

Sometimes humid conditions may make us sweat a lot. So in order to eliminate this type of sweating, we can make use of the air coolers or air conditioners which paves way to stop excessive sweating.
